In 2005, I spent 5 weeks traveling from Santiago, Chile to the southern tip of Tierra del Fuego and back again, and it was otherworldly.

Incredible beaches, quaint small towns, magical cenotes and historic ruins–the Yucatán Peninsula is an exciting blend of a still vibrant indigenous culture and a small town lifestyle that imbues it with a dynamic and colorful hospitality.
